About the Event
Two of our beloved SAFE committee members, offer an ongoing peer support group on a weekly basis. They work collaboratively, through lived experience offering a survivors approach to a wide range of topics. Including check-ins, meditations, open discussions and guided topics; such as guilt or shame. They do not profess to be therapists, they merely offer a safe space to explore feelings and emotions. If you are a woman who has experienced trauma, Women Working Through Trauma invites you to join their new collaborative and healing community. They meet every Thursday evening for:
- Conversations about trauma and healing
- Knowledge-sharing
- Connecting and building a support network
- Hope, recovery and thriving
- Creativity and relaxation
- Skill-building
